What is counted: Platform monthly fee (or all-in per-minute rate x expected call volume for voice AI). Divided by meetings booked per month.
What is not counted: Management overhead to configure and monitor the AI SDR; internal IT time for CRM integration; occasional human review of AI-flagged anomalies. These typically add $500-$1,500/month equivalent for AI SDR; less for voice AI inbound.
Human SDR calculation: OTE salary + 30% benefits (healthcare, payroll tax, equity) + $2,000/year tooling (Outreach/Salesloft seat, ZoomInfo seat, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) = fully-loaded annual cost. Divided by 12 for monthly. 15 meetings/month is a typical productive SDR output after ramp; first 3 months excluded.
Voice AI meeting conversion: Outbound appointment confirmation typically converts at 15-30% (known contact, prior relationship). Outbound cold call AI would need prior express consent under the TCPA (see legal guide). Inbound qualification converts at 20-50% of qualified leads reached.
